Registration for Elementary Summer Session begins Tuesday, April 14th at 10am.
We recommend that you register right at 10am as spots will fill up quickly.
To register you will need the Personal Education Number (PEN) for each of your students. This number can be found at the top of their most recent learning assessment that was posted online in March.

Is Stride a location for Summer School? -> NO

When does registration open? -> Elementary registration opens April 14th (location: Armstrong, Brantford, Edmonds, Marlborough, Maywood, Nelson, Taylor Park) and April 16th (location: Aubrey, Cascade Heights, Gilmore, Inman, Parkcrest, Seaforth, Sperling)
Can I register early -> NO
How can I register my children? -> Online only (NO in person registration). Check this link HERE on Tuesday, April 14th.
Where can I find my children’s PEN number? -> On the Report Card that was posted online before spring Break. The PEN is under your child’s photo.

Q&A – GRADE 7/8 TRANSITION COURSE (STUDENTS GOING INTO GRADE 8)
Where is the Grade 7/8 Transition program being held –> At Burnaby South (Byrne Creek is NOT a location for Summer Session this year).
If this program is not being held at Byrne, will my child still benefit from the course -> Absolutely!! Grade 7/8 Transition is designed to help students navigate the transition between elementary and
secondary school. Teachers will talk about personal responsibility, skill building and relationships. Students will also have the opportunity to meet new students that will be attending Byrne in September.

HELPFUL HINTS FOR REGISTRATION
When registration opens April 14th at 10am, spots will fill up FAST. Be prepared ahead of time.
Have the following ready before you begin to register
- the PEN (personal education number) for each student.
- the COURSE CODES for each program you are interested in (have a couple codes ready incase one is full)
- if you have multiple children you are registering, have someone register with you on a different devise at 10am (so you each register one child at 10am).
