School Supplies for the 2026/2027 School Year
Dear Stride Families,
In September, once students have been placed in their permanent classes, the school will open School Cash Online and collect a $35 fee per student. This fee will be used to purchase the classroom supplies students will need throughout the year, such as crayons, pencils, erasers, duotangs, paper, and other essential materials.
There are many benefits to this approach. Parents do not need to shop for items on a school supply list, the school can obtain better pricing through bulk purchasing, we can reduce packaging waste and be more environmentally responsible, and students learn to share and care for communal classroom supplies.
We do ask that families provide their child with a backpack so that snacks, notices, library books, home reading books, and other items can be transported safely to and from school without being lost or damaged.
Please note:
- Not all teachers will be participating in the classroom bulk-purchase program. Please check with your child’s teacher for details.
- If you prefer to purchase your child’s school supplies yourself, please refer to the supply list below and inform your child’s teacher on the first day of school.
- There is no need to label individual supplies with your child’s name, as these items will be added to the classroom’s shared supply collection.
